YLS Catering: Some Hits, Some Misses Reviewed on 10th Feb 2025 Verified Purchase Overall, the catering experience with YLS Catering was mixed, with some dishes meeting expectations while others fell short. The "Fried H.K Noodle" was ordered but fried rice was provided instead. Unfortunately fried rice dry and hard This ... More situation was unexpected thus they give some discount. The "Sweet & Sour Sliced Fish" suffered from a soggy texture. The "Curry Pork" had a diluted curry sauce, and the pork was tough. The potatoes in the curry were also not soft. The "Smoke Duck with Black Pepper" was a little oily. The "Prawn with Crab Sauce" featured small prawns, and the sauce was sparse and dry. The "Prawn Sauce Chicken" provided wasn't drumettes or wings but parts of the chicken and the taste of prawn paste was weak. On a more positive note, the "Deep Fried Ngo Hiang" was acceptable. The "Kailan with Mushrooms" was also a satisfactory dish. The "Yam Paste with Coconut Milk" provided a sweet ending to the meal. In summary, while some dishes were palatable, the overall quality of the food from YLS Catering was inconsistent. Several dishes suffered from issues with texture, flavor, or preparation. Improvements are needed in the execution of several menu items to meet expectations.
